Sleet and Freezing Rain Changing To Rain
Meteorologist Ben Smith's Forecast: As of 7am, we have had reports of sleet in Waterloo and Rogersville in Lauderdale County. Some light rain in Lawrence County. Light precipitation is moving through Morgan County this morning. A mixed bag of sleet, freezing rain, and maybe a little snow this morning. Sleet and freezing rain is likely through the afternoon. It will all change to rain late tonight. A milder Thursday is in the forecast.
A weak cool front will bring temps back into the 40's on Friday. Rain mixed with snow is possible Saturday. Today: Light snow, sleet, and freezing rain this morning. Mainly freezing rain this afternoon. Highs around 35°.
Tonight: Mixed precip changing to all rain. Temperatures rising from the middle 30s to the lower 40s.
Thursday: Cloudy with a chance of rain. A milder day as highs will reach 52°.
Friday: Cloudy and cooler with another chance of rain. Highs near 43°.
